With the arrival of June, I think of picking strawberries, weddings, pink peonies, blue skies, and a warming sun.  June to me is perfection.  The month that bridges the cold and wet we’ve left behind and the hot and humid to come.

When I think of perfection, I think of our own perfection.  Our own unique design. Our individual human stamp. Do you ever stop and think about this complex, incredible machine called your human body?  All the integrated, related, complex systems that keep you being you?

If you drive, you know there are times when your engine might run too hot; the oil gets sticky and mucky; your fluids might leak, your tires need air and a rotation.  Your car needs your attention to run smoothly.  It needs maintenance – regular maintenance.  We don’t think twice about the care that our four wheels need in order to get us around.  What about this body of yours on two wheels (your legs)?  Do you give it proper tending, regular maintenance?

Yoga is your cheat sheet, your secret mechanic.  Yoga promotes internal and external wellness on so many levels.  It checks the boxes of:
